This room is huge yet elegant (18 x 16, 12 foot ceilings).  Look at the windows, they are 3 feet by 10 feet tall!  The walls of the house are 16 inches thick so look at the molding of the windows you will see this in most rooms.  The windows angle in, and have 10 inch wide side molding around them!  Look at the base boards around the floor it is 10 inches high!  The floor is tiger striped oak.   The fire place is original as is the gas insert. The mantel is 72 inches long by 50 inches high, it is huge! It is hand carved mahogany.Look back into the circular stairs, wow.
